These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Sonivo, a voice dictation application for macOS ("the Software"), developed and maintained by an independent developer ("we", "us", "our"). By purchasing or using Sonivo, you agree to these Terms.
When you purchase Sonivo, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software on your Mac computers for personal or commercial use. This license is perpetual for the version you purchase.
Your purchase includes all future updates to Sonivo at no additional cost. We may release updates at our discretion but are not obligated to provide any specific updates, features, or bug fixes.
Sonivo is sold as a one-time purchase through LemonSqueezy, our payment processor. All payment processing is handled by LemonSqueezy and is subject to their terms of service. Prices are listed in USD and may change at any time, though any price change will not affect existing purchases.

Sonivo processes all voice data locally on your device. No audio, transcriptions, or personal data is transmitted to external servers. Your voice never leaves your Mac. We do not collect, store, or have access to any of your voice data or transcriptions.

Sonivo and all associated trademarks, logos, and content are our property. Your purchase grants a license to use the Software — it does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property.
Sonivo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements. Transcription accuracy depends on factors including audio quality, accent, and background noise.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Software. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Software.
We may terminate your license if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must stop using the Software and delete all copies. Sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability survive termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
